Our activity centre has an array of tour and activity options that will keep you occupied for days whether you are looking for adventure, the extreme or to simply enjoy the tropical environs of Mission Beach.  There is an activity to suit any holiday, weekend getaway or romantic escape.

Kids Only Club
Kids club operates everyday on demand ( minimum of 2 kids at a time ) at the Activities Centre right next door to Castaways Resort & Spa. Each session is different from game days, water awareness, pirate day, making sand marine animals and our own palm tree kid’s club house, Fun! Fun! Fun!    
$30 per child bookings essential.             “no grown ups allowed”!!!

Turtle Spotting Trips
Where else in the world? surrounded by two world heritage listed national parks, the great barrier reef and the tropical rainforests of the great dividing range and flagrantly blessed by islands. accompanied by our experienced guides you can paddle along our beautiful beach searching for turtles, dugongs, dolphins, manta rays and other marine life that call mission beach their home. It’s an easy paddle for everyone and perfect for the whole family with any level of experience. (weather permitting)
1hr trips $15 per person, bookings essential

Kayak Trips
Again what more can we say!! Mission Beach is a magical location to explore by kayak. 3hr kayak trips everyday (weather permitting) which explore the beautiful waters around mission beach, clump point, bingil bay or we head south navigating the ever continuing beach line towards south mission beacxh and lugger bay. Trip includes morning tea and is suitable for all the family wit any level of experience.
3hr trips $40 per person   $120 family of four

Kayak Hire
Enjoy the calm clear blue waters and explore the coastline and observe the local marine life or play in the waves on our surfing kayaks, great for the kids. No experience is required to enjoy kayaking; we will give you all the info you need. exploring or just splash around you will have some fun in the sun. We have a range of single and double kayak’s to suit all ages and levels of experience.

double kayaks  *$30 for the first hour     then $10 every additional hour
*pay only once during your stay!! We will issue you an adventure pass which will entitle you to the additional charges set there on in.

Stand-up Paddle Boarding
“Come on” give stand-up paddling a go! fast becoming a popular water sports for its capacity to provide hours of fun to all. Stand up is suitable for all ages and abilities so come down and paddle in a enjoyable and supportive environment. Stand-up is a great way to view marine life or paddle up and down the beautiful calm waters of mission beach, “it’s also a great workout”!

kayak & stand-up “lessons”
Lessons are available so you can learn the finer points of kayaking and stand-up. Times are available on request and are $30 per person for ½ hr including all equipment.
 
Blo-Karts
blo-karts are light, manoeuverable, responsive and safe – easily mastered in minutes and eco friendly. they are totally wind powered, so if its windy and your looking for some real fun this is for you. It’s a perfect fun for the whole family as well, with a double kart available for children under 14 yrs to be taken by an adult. We are one of ones in the tropics and amongst very few in Australia offering this experience right on the beach. What a cool way to see mission beach and the beautiful island views out to dunk island.

Mountain Bikes
Our bikes are available for hire to explore the mission beach area with a range of tracks to explore through the rainforest or have a bike handy at your accommodation so you don’t have to use the car.

Skydive
We are the drop zone for Jump the Beach sky dive, so come and see the experienced tandem masters exciting landings throughout the day. We can also organise your jump for that ultimate adrenaline experience of a life time.

Beach Kiosk
located right on the beach at the end of seaview street mission beach, where you can enjoy our famous hotdogs, toasted or freshly made sandwiches, tea or coffee, iced coffee or chocolate, amazing banana splits & ice cream sundaes, ice creams & cold drinks
