Mission Beach Accommodation

"Stayed for 3 nights. From the moment I walked in I liked the place. The reception staff, all of them, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The room, had a resort balcony room facing the ocean. Big room, two king sized beds. The room was well maintained, cleaned well every day and everything in the room worked. The bed was so comfortable. The ac worked very well. The view from the balcony is worth every penny. The resort is a 10 minute walk to the restaurants of Mission Beach. The continental breakfast came with the room, was great. Overall the resort is well looked after. I loved Mission Beach, and I loved this resort. I want to stay again!!"

"Had a 2 night stay and we absolutely loved every minute of it. Complete beach frontage of the beautiful Mission Beach and view of Dunk Island. Check in staff were fabulous and welcoming then we were greeted at happy hour by yes friendly professionals who clearly love their jobs. Breakfast superb. We loved it so much had lunch and dinner at the resort too. 5 Star dining - superb meals, wine and professional service that is becoming rare. Well done team."

"In my life I have never woken up to a view like the one we had at Castaway. A beautifully furnished room with the most amazing view. So sorry we were only here on an overnight stay and did not get to sample all the resort had to offer."

"After two weeks+ of a hectic tour of Australia, we were looking for a place to relax and wind down by the beach before our long trip home to the United States. Castaways provided exactly what we were looking for. The room was nice, with a great view of the pool and the beach. It had a nice "sanctuary" area on the balcony that was great for sitting and watching the world go by. There were nice walking paths that allowed us to explore the area. The village was quiet, with decent places to eat and drink. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The beds were so comfy had the best nights sleep and the room was great and accommodated my family's needs EG: Had free WiFi you could get fresh towels after swimming and didn't need to wait for new towels to be replaced by the housekeeping staff which is a big bonus with 3 children swimming all day at the beach or in the pool. I loved how I could walk out from the ground floor veranda and jump straight into the pool but the security to the pool meant my kids all under 9 could not open the gate without me allowing them to go for a swim. Cant complain about anything!"    

"A place like heaven. The room was very clean with direct access to the pool. The park like surrounding makes it a relay nice place and behind the park is the beach, what a dream scenery. The staff was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. Basic breakfast was included, but for decent coffee you pay extra. The local restaurants from mission beach are in walking distance. We loved the place. It seems the will rebuild the place (knows god why). Hopefully the keep the scenery with the park and the beach."
